What is limestone?
Limestone has been used as a key building material throughout civilization. In fact, many historic landmarks around the world – from ancient Egyptian monuments to classical European châteaux – are constructed from this durable, versatile substance. Limestone is an organic sedimentary rock formed from accumulated marine shells and calcite crystals under geological compression, delivering exceptional thermal insulation underfoot, natural walkability, and warm organic tonality.
Where do we find & quarry it?
We operate direct quarry concessions and partnership reserves, fabricating raw blocks at our automated manufacturing center in Shuitou Town, Fujian (The World Stone Capital). Our range is strictly curated to include higher performing, dense materials (bulk specific gravity >2.60 g/cm³, water absorption <0.22%) ensuring enduring tactile quality and high freeze-thaw resilience across all climates.
How do we offer & fabricate it?
Much of our Limestone range comes in complete modular Roman laying patterns (combining 4 intermeshing tile dimensions) and large architectural formats (600x400, 800x400, 900x600mm). We experiment by tumbling, sandblasting, and heavily or lightly distressing the rock to offer dynamic visual experiences and certified P4/P5 wet pendulum slip resistance for swimming pools and public plazas.
